Andrew Parker & Friends at BLT Steak : Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at BLT Steak, 106 East 57th Street, New York City-- Interview over cocktails with controversial Madison Avenue Designer/Storeowner/Filmmaker/Socialite Andrew Parker (AS Parker) and starlettes Trina Michaels, Heather Pink & Brooke Haven to discuss his upcoming film series made in New York, in collaboration with musician turned porntrepreneur Joe Gallant (see also:Joe Gallant’s artsy porn posse, From Soaps to Skin, The adult art of Joe Gallant), entitled "Trust Fund Sluts" which as stated by Heather Pink, the featured performer,"is based on real socialites whose names I can't mention, but if you watch the movies you'll figure out who they are," We discussed among other things, the implication of not just making pornography in New York City but in the heart of Carnegie Hill, on the Upper East Side, one of the toniest neighborhoods in America, based upon the real lives of a rather exclusive list of socialites from the most prominent families in New York. In New York it is members of "Society" who are very much in essence "celebrities" on the New York social scene...so this begs the question, is "Society Porn" the next wave of this multi billion dollar industry? Only time will tell whether AS Parker's own celebrity will be enhanced or whether he will instead be considered more of a parriah by his 5th Avenue clientele. Interestingly enough at the time of this interview, seated with Andrew were some faces which I have regularly encountered and photographed at Society functions on the Upper East Side. I followed them briefly to Fredericks where we came upon rapper Jay Z who warmly greeted Heather Pink.
