Wednesday, May 3, 2006 Central Park's Conservatory Garden, New York City, NY--The 24th Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon (FLO). FLO, affectionately known as the "Hat Luncheon", hosted by the Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy is the biggest annual fundraiser for the Conservancy. Attended by over 1,200 guests and usually raises more than $2 million, FLO is definitely one of the more uniquely enchanting charity events in New York City. This year's event chairwomen were Hilary Geary Ross (Society Columnist for Quest Magazine and wife of industrialist, Wilbur L. Ross), Karen Thornwell May, Thorunn Wathne, Simone Mailman and Kathy Araskog Thomas. Patti and Raymond Chambers and Karen LeFrak of the Lefrak family were honored for their contributions to Central Park.
