American Friends of the Louvre Museum Fall Gala. Co-Chairs:

KiptonART founder,

American Friends of the Louvre (AFL) was founded in 2002 to strengthen ties between the Musée du Louvre and its American public and formalize the longstanding generosity of American patrons. Through its support, AFL raises awareness of the Louvre's collections and museum expertise and helps make the Louvre's exhibitions and permanent collection more accessible to all English-speaking visitors. The Musée du Louvre is a global museum for all people, and welcomes more than 1 million American visitors each year representing almost 20% of the museum's current record 7.5 million total annual visitors. AFL's new Young Patrons Circle (YPC) will help advance the mission of American Friends of the Louvre by providing financial support and enhancing AFL's outreach through special events and scholarly programs. Upcoming YPC projects will include special events such as fundraising benefits, lectures and visits to museums and private collections, and joint programs in New York and Paris with the YPC's Parisian counterpart, the new Cercle des Jeunes Mécènes du Louvre.
