New Yorkers For Children is the not-for-profit organization that works in partnership with the Administration for Children’s Services to benefit children in foster care in New York City. Founded in 1996, New Yorkers For Children creates special programs, funding, research and training projects that have changed the lives of many of the children in foster care in N.Y.C. Due to our unique access to these children and families , our private funds reach young people through mentoring, college support, employment initiatives, and cultural enrichment programs. The evening was in part underwritten by Nokia, the Scott and Donya Bommer Foundation and the Jay and Kelly Sugarman Foundation.
