Kate Snow, the co-anchor of ABC News weekend edition of "Good Morning America", served as Mistress of Ceremonies and Patrick Meade, Senior Vice President of Business Development for Bonhams Auctioneers & Appraisers served as auctioneer for the live auction. Today’s New York Junior League honorees and volunteers continue a great tradition. In 1901, Mary Harriman organized a group of dedicated young women who gave their time, talent and energy to ensure that New York City would be a better place to live. Their vision became the first Junior League – The Junior League of the City of New York. The accomplishments of this year’s Outstanding Sustainers and Outstanding Volunteers illustrates the diverse activates undertaken by the New York Junior League in the 106 years since their founding.
