SSP Back-to-School Benefit: An evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dancing.Back to back fundraising events were held to support the charitable activities of Student Sponsor Partners. From 6-9 pm, they held the SSP Back-to-School Benefit, an intimate gathering with board members and critical supporters. That event was followed, from 9 pm-12 am, by the 5th annual Cabana Nights. The mission of Student Sponsor Partners is to provide at-risk New York City youths with the opportunity to receive a quality, non-public high school education, through the financial support and one-to-one guidance of a four-year Sponsor. Back-to-School benefit co-chairs were: Todd Conklin, Christina Coster, Anne-Marie Peterson and Charles Rockefeller. The co-chairs for the 5th annual Cabana Nights were John Kelly, Natalie Pica, Evan Uhlick and Conway Walthew. Noteable attendees included Margaret Minson, Executive Director of Student Sponsor Partners. SSP Board Members, Kim Shariff and Steve Lipin and CNBC reporter Margaret Brennan . SSP Staff Members on hand included, Emily Mead, Christina Maloney and Shirah Dunphy. The event’s corporate sponsor was Duval & Stachenfeld LLP. Liquor sponsors were Belvedere Vodka and 10 Cane Rum.
