NEW YORK-FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2008, The Junior League of the City of New York (NYJL) held an Announcement and Celebration of the 2009 Outstanding Sustainers and Outstanding Volunteers at Sotheby's,1334 York Avenue at 72nd Street, New York City, NY. This special evening was hosted by NYJL President Gena Lovett, the Sustainer Nominating, Nominating and Winter Ball Committees.The NYJL’s 2009 Outstanding Sustainers and Outstanding Volunteers are: Melissa Lewis Bernstein, Outstanding Sustainer | Frances Griffith Laserson, Outstanding Sustainer | Kara A. Dunn, Outstanding Volunteer | Elizabeth King, Outstanding Volunteer | Mary Prevosti Shelton, Outstanding Volunteer | Justine Frances Schiro, Outstanding Volunteer | Lisa Hathaway Stella, Outstanding Volunteer | Saundra Smith, Nominating Chair | Sarah Hewitt, Sustainer Nominating Chair. The Outstanding Sustainers and Outstanding Volunteers will be honored at the New York Junior League's Annual Winter Ball on Saturday, February 28, 2009.
