The Community Coalition hosted their 7th annual benefit aboard
The Highlander. The Board’s President
Moira Forbes Mumma and a committee of supporters offered an evening of glamour in the New York City Harbor. Guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing, Jazz by The Underwoods and fabulous silent auction items. Guests included:
Aiden Turner, Kipton Cronkite, Melissa Dochat, Bernadette Durham, Laura Essey, Catherine I. Forbes, Isabel Forbes, Malcolm Harrison Forbes, Miguel Forbes, Sabina Forbes II, Beatriz Garcia, Dorrance Hamilton, William Heath, Lucas Tomlinson, Roberta & Michael Warren and
Caroline Waxler. Other supporters not present included, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Chip & Allison Brady.
The Community Coalition is an exciting initiative to improve the lives of people in communities northwest of Philadelphia.
The Community Coalition, formed in 1991, has two primary purposes: To create a collaborative, streamlined, low-overhead model for financial cooperation among non-profits and to insure that member organizations provide increased affordable and transitional housing, employment assistance to marginalized community members, one-to-one advocacy for people with disabilities, cultural and historic revitalization and child care and family support – in innovative ways that respect and enhance the dignity of every individual.
