NEW YORK-JULY 26: The Watermill Center held their 2008 Summer Benefit on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the grounds of The Watermill Center at 39 Watermill Towd Road, Watermill, New York 11976. Hosted by auctioneer Simon de Pury, and dancing. This gala regularly brings together the worlds of theater, art, fashion, design and society for an evening that is as stimulating and edgy as it is fun. The dress code this year was decadent chic. German artist Jonathan Meese created a spectacular installation inside the Watermill Center's main building, transforming Robert Wilson's pure design into a fantastic, ever changing assemblage of cult, kitsch, and historical relics. Jonathan Meese also performed at the benefit.
