NEW YORK-SEPTEMBER 28: Steuben Glass & Veronica Varekova Host African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) reception & silent auction to Benefit AWF on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Steuben Glass Flagship Store 667 Madison Avenue, New York City. Steuben Glass has partnered with the African Wildlife Foundation and their spokesperson model Veronica Varekova. They hosted an event with several noteables from the social and design world at their Madison Avenue location. The evening served as a launch party for their "Big 5" promotion, which features glass replicas of elephants, royal lions, cape buffalos, etc.. There was a silent auction consisting of over 21 donated pieces from various artists with all proceeds benefitting the AWF. Host Committee: Sports Illustrated cover girl and AWF spokesperson Veronica Varekova, Lauren Bush, Douglas Hannant, and Celerie Kemble .Artists: Wayne Maser, Sheila Metzner, Chris Makos & Paul Solberg, and Hunt Slonem.
