NEW YORK-NOVEMBER 4: The 2010 Adults in Toyland Casino Night Hosted by Caesars, Atlantic City on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at The Edison Ballroom (47th between Broadway and 8th Avenue), New York City, NY.
Event Co-Chairs: Susan Block Casdin, Keri Glassman, Kimberly Goodwin, Morgan Hertzan, Steven Jaffe, Patti Kim, Joshua Laterman, Kelly Kennedy Mack, Harlan Saroken, and Michael Weaver. The event proceeds will benefit the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the Department of Pediatrics at NYU Langone Medical Center. Attendees included Trudy and Robert Gottesman, Ed and Sandy Meyer, Amanda and Ed Offit, Ayala and John Podhoretz, Kimberly Greenspan Pozner, Brian Saroken, Alice and Tom Tisch, Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch, Peter and Susi Wunsch, George Oliphant and Sara Gore of LXTV, and DJ Big Rich. Presented by the Hassenfeld Committee and the KiDS of NYU Foundation Associates Committee, the Adults in Toyland – Casino Night attracts over 600 young New York City professionals. This fun-filled evening with casino games and a premiere silent auction raises important funds for the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the NYU Langone Medical Center Department of Pediatrics.These funds will support the needs of the Department as well as vital integrative-care programs at the Hassenfeld Center – those which greatly reduce stress and anxiety in patients and families, but are not covered by health insurance. These programs include interim patient/family housing, bilingual child life therapy, and music and recreational therapy.
