As New York City’s longest-running junior benefit, the Museum Dance brings together influential and philanthropic young professionals to celebrate and raise essential funds for the Museum’s scientific and educational programs, which enable thousands of under served New York City school children to visit the Museum annually. The event, which was held on the eve of the Royal Wedding
, celebrate British culture, and guests were encouraged to dress in British fashion.
The Festive Black Tie event began with an intimate dinner and dessert followed by dancing. Music was provided by DJ Jus-Ske
. Throughout the evening, there was a silent auction withluxury items from many of New York’s most exclusive retailers including: a private shopping session with a consultant from Saks’s renowned Fifth Avenue Club along with a $2,500 gift card, including lunch and a $400 gift certificate to spend at their luxurious Salon & Spa; a breakfast hosted by Tiffany & Co. at its Fifth Avenue flagship store and a private tour of the Tiffany Jewelry Workshop where the world’s most dazzling jewels get their sparkle.
