NEW YORK, OCTOBER 14, 2011 -- The Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club 15th Annual Military Ball saluting the United States Coast Guard on Friday, October 14, 2011 at The Pierre Hotel, 2 East 61st Street at Fifth Avenue, New York City, NY.

Honorees: Admiral Robert J. Papp, Jr., Commandant, United States Coast Guard; John A. Catsimatidis, Chairman & CEO, Red Apple Group and Cindy Hsu, WCBS-TV New York.

More than 250 guests attended The Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club 15th Annual Military Ball saluting the United States Coast Guard. Honorees at this annual event received hand-cast brass eagles to commemorate the evening. This year’s honorees included Admiral Robert J. Papp, Jr., Commandant, United States Coast Guard, who received the “Distinguished Military Leadership Award,” and John A. Catsimatidis, Chairman & CEO, Red Apple Group, who received the “Service to the Nation” Award. The Bill Gallo Distinguished Media Achievement Award was presented to television personality Cindy Hsu, WCBS-TV New York.
