On Wednesday, May 2, 2012 the Chamber Music Society celebrated Spring Rhapsody, a benefit fundraiser held at the St. Regis, New York. Festivities included a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and concert program for Two Pianos, and Piano, Four Hands by Inon Barnatan, Alessio Bax, and CMS Artistic Director Wu Han. The musical performance included Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Blackstone Senior Managing Director Chinh Chu received the Award for Global Corporate Citizenship and CMS Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han received the Award for Artistic Excellence.
