Wednesday, May 10, 2006,The Puck Building, New York City--The SoHo and Tribeca Partnerships and The Association of Community Employment Programs for the Homeless: "2006 A.C.E. Award Dinner" A.C.E. founded by philanthropist Henry Buhl in 1992, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help recovering homeless adults obtain the essential skills needed to successfully re-enter the workforce and achieve long-term economic self-sufficiency. The evening hosted a high-profile crowd of influential leaders in fashion, art, society, and philanthropy. All proceeds from the gala will benefit A.C.E. and its initiatives, the SoHo and Tribeca Partnerships, which currently provide over 3,000 hours of community service in these communities each month.
