SAGAPONACK, NEW YORK - JUNE 17: GROUP FOR THE SOUTH FORK "Towns & Villages Benefit Dinner Dance on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, 139 Sagg Road, Sagaponack, Long Island, NY

420 supporters of the Group for the South Fork gathered under party tents at the Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack to raise money for the organization’s environmental education and advocacy projects. The event, raised $690,000 for the Group’s environmental advocacy and education programs. THIS IS MORE THAN ANY FUNDRAISER IN THE GROUP'S 34 YEAR HISTORY!

The Master of Ceremonies was WB11 News at Ten Anchor Jim Watkins. After cocktails and a seated dinner by Janet O’Brien Caterers, a live auction was conducted by Sotheby’s Auctioneer Ian Irving (raising $105,500). Guests danced to rock, disco & Motown by The Bruce Saunders Orchestra.
