420 supporters of the Group for the South Fork gathered under party tents at the Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack to raise money for the organizations environmental education and advocacy projects. The event, raised $690,000 for the Groups environmental advocacy and education programs. THIS IS MORE THAN ANY FUNDRAISER IN THE GROUP'S 34 YEAR HISTORY!
The Master of Ceremonies was WB11 News at Ten Anchor Jim Watkins. After cocktails and a seated dinner by Janet OBrien Caterers, a live auction was conducted by Sothebys Auctioneer Ian Irving (raising $105,500). Guests danced to rock, disco & Motown by The Bruce Saunders Orchestra.
