Thursday, April 24, 2008, The Park Avenue Armory, 67th & Park Avenue, New York City. ONCE UPON A TIME: A Gala Preview of The Spring International Art & Antiques Show to benefit Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was Underwritten by Rolex Watch U.S.A. and featured the Designer Tables Showcase with a presentation by Bunny Williams (1pm – 4pm, before the party)followed by a cocktail preview party between 6:30pm – 8:30pm. At 8:30pm dinner was served on the designer tables. The night continued with dinner at tables decorated by New York's top designers to reflect the evening's theme. This event is always truly a designer spectacle with 2008 being the best yet to date, in my humble estimation. The Gala Chair was Diana Quasha. The Honorary Chairs are Audrey Gruss and Sydney R. Shuman. The Dinner Chairs were Sara and Charles Ayres, Ingrid and Thomas J. Edelman and Amie and Tony James. The Design Co-Chairs were Albert Hadley and Harry Heissmann.
