CFC Tenth Anniversary Benefit, “The Art of Giving… Celebrating 10 Years of Helping Kids Grow Involved”
Thursday, April 20, 2006, Christies, 20 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10020--Children For Children("CFC") Tenth Anniversary Benefit, "The Art of Giving...Celebrating 10 Years of Helping Kids Grow Involved": This event at Christies gathered friends and supporters to celebrate CFC's 10th Anniversary, and honor the recipients of the 2006 Champions for Children Awards. Mastercard's Noah Hanft and his wife Dora Hanft accepted the Inspiration Award, Citigroup's Michael Schlein was honored with the Innovation in Corporate Philanthropy Award, and this year's Hands That Help Award was presented to Nazili Parvizi Executive Director of the Mayor's Volunteer Center. For the past ten years, Children for Children has engaged kids of all ages and backgrounds in hands-on volunteering and service learning, with an emphasis on providing resources to under-served schools.
