United Hospital Fund Trustee Tribute Luncheon
Friday, May 12,2006 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Park Avenue, New York City-- United Hospital Fund Trustee Tribute Luncheon: The event honored 31 New York City hospital trustees for their leadership, guidance, and extraordinary service to the city�s not-for-profit hospitals. Among the award recipients were prominent leaders of New York�s business, legal, academic, and medical communities, as well as those involved in social service and community organizations. Commerce Bank was the underwriter of the 2006 Tribute to Hospital Trustees. Commerce founder and chairman Vernon W Hill II, joined United Hospital Fund President James R. Tallon, Jr. , and luncheon co-chairmen Brooke Garber Neidich and James G. Niven in recognizing the 31 Distinguished Trustees who were honored at the event. Brooke Garber Neidich is the chair of the NYU Child Study Center and a trustee of NYU Medical Center. James G. Niven, vice chairman of Sotheby�s, is a member of the Board of Managers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
