The Benefit for DKMS Americas – Where Leukemia Meets Its Match
Tuesday, October 10, 2006, 8 PM-Late, Comix 353 West 14th Street (Just East of 9th Avenue) New York, NY 10014, DKMS represented by DKMS CEO, Katharina Harf hosted its first ever U.S. event� a star-studded comedy benefit emceed by DKMS advocate and volunteer, Darryl DMC McDaniels of Run DMC. Among those joining Darryl DMC McDaniels for this special night of comedy were New York�s own Goumba Johnny, Greg Giraldo, host of Comedy Central�s "Stand Up Nation" and Lynne Koplitz. Benefit Committee: Alexandro Santo Domingo, Kate Earls, Kisha Omer, Marla La Gamba, Mukang Cho, Paul Rothenberg, Stephanie Dishart, Chris Sachs, Rob Diddatom Viktoria von Wulffen, Lara Meiland and Claude Shaw, Louisa Sarene, Jane Griffin & Alexandra Wilkis. Event proceeds will allow DKMS to register more donors. It costs DKMS $65 to type each donor. DKMS is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about leukemia and recruits bone marrow donors.
