The Nature Conservancy's Annual New York Spring Gala, "Greening the World"

Bloomberg ("Mayor Mike") joined prominent members of from the world’s top financial institutions, law firms and major corporations to fight climate change by saving the earth’s forests and promoting the global development of green buildings at the The Nature Conservancy's "Greening The World" New York Spring Gala on April 28th in the Hearst Tower, Manhattan's Manhattan’s first occupied Gold LEED© certified office building. The evening, under the banner of "Greening the World," brought together more than 400 of the city's most influential citizens in an effort to raise awareness about the critical relationship between global forest conservation, sustainable buildings, and climate change. The Co-Chairs included Katherine Farley & Jerry I. Speyer of Tishman Speyer; Christy & John J. Mack of Morgan Stanley; Patricia & Victor E. Ganzi; Haydee & Alain Belda of Alcoa; Dr. Mary Lake Polan & Frank A. Bennack Jr. of the Hearst Corporation. In addition to Mr. Paulson and his wife, Wendy, the Vice-Chairs included Isabella Rossellini, Naomi Arbit & Joshua Fink, Carson & Joseph Gleberman, Roberta & Richard Huber, Catherine & Tracy Wolstencroft.
