NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 11 -- AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY 'MUSEUM GALA' 2011 on Thursday, November 11, 2011 at The American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West at 79th Street, New York, NY, 10024-5192 The annual American Museum of Natural History Gala, held at the American Museum of Natural History is always one of the highlights of the fall season. This year was no different. The evening began with cocktails in the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda followed by dinner, dancing, and a live performance by Coldplay in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life with a fabulous live auction of extraordinary and priceless items, conducted by Jamie Niven of Sotheby’s. All proceeds from the evening will help support the Museum’s educational and scientific programming.
