NEW YORK-MARCH 1: The Jewish Museum’s Twenty-Fifth Annual Purim Ball: "Presto, It’s Purim!" on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, 301 Park Avenue, New York City, NY. The Jewish Museum’s Twenty-Fifth Annual Purim Ball was inspired by the current exhibition, Houdini: Art and Magic. Honorary Co-Chairs of the ball were Toby and Leon Cooperman, Carol and Gershon Kekst, Jeanette Lerman-Neubauer and Joseph Neubauer, Adrianne and William Silver, S. Donald Sussman, The Joan and Bob Tisch Families, Jean and Raymond Troubh, and Roy J. Zuckerberg. Honorees include Joshua Nash, Chairman of The Jewish Museum’s Board of Trustees, and trustees Betty Levin and James A. Stern. Actor/writer/director Jason Alexander will perform an original Purimspiel (Purim play). At the heart of New York City's famed Museum Mile, The Jewish Museum is admired for its exhibitions and educational programs that inspire people of all backgrounds.
